Romantic cruise
Whether planning a unique surprise for that special occasion, arriving in ultimate style at one of the river’s acclaimed riverside restaurants, or simply meandering through the beautiful landscape of the River Thames, there is just no better way to enjoy the water than from the comfort of a Slipper Launch. Glide effortlessly through hidden backwaters and country estates and enjoy the scenery as it unfolds before you.
Head downstream past the glorious forested banks of Winter Hill, Bourne End and Cookham with their open National Trust fields and stunning riverside homes and boathouses, or upstream past Higginson Park, Bisham Abbey and the impressive Harleyford Estate, leaving the pace and bustle of life behind you and soaking up the tranquillity of the river.
Charters begin from historic Wootten’s Boatyard in Cookham Dean near Marlow, or can be tailored to accommodate specific timings, durations and locations to complement a dining experience at one to the many prestigious restaurants or hotels on the river.
Half and full day experiences are available upon request (ideal for Cliveden and Maidenhead, or Henley-on-Thames).
Price: £175.00 per hour commencing from Wootten’s Boatyard in Marlow, £250.00 per hour from Maidenhead/Bray and Henley-on-Thames.

Henley Events
There is no better way to experience the fun and atmosphere of the Henley ‘season’ than aboard your own private Slipper charter. ‘Bertie’ may be booked for private chartered hire throughout Royal Regatta Week, the Henley Festival and the Henley Traditional Boat Festival, where guests may join the festivities as part of the ‘crew’ (inclusive packages available).
Champagne charters are also available on request.

Wedding
For those wishing to bring unique glamour to their Wedding Day, ‘Bertie’ may be chartered to deliver the Bride and Groom in ultimate style and luxury to a number of riverside locations. Bespoke planning is available to ensure that your Wedding Day charter meets your every expectation, from arrival at your venue, to working with your photographer to capture those special moments.
